Rotorua Stinks*

After a long day’s driving I made it to a one of my last stops in NZ: Rotorua. This is a place that you can smell before you see as it is built on thermal springs brimming with sulphur that gives you that lovely, tangy, rotten egg smell. Ahhh… Breathe it in! 

Here I indulged in luxurious spa treatments, visited a fantastic Maori village  experience, got chased by very aggressive seagulls and swam in a piping hot river! Here’s a little bit of what I saw in Rotorua…


*but in a good way!
